Everything about llamas:
While looking for some on-line inspirations for the next "Llama of the Week," I ran across this interesting (and bizarre) fact: Llamas are used very effectively as guard animals for various herds of livestock. They apparently have a very protective nature, and when taken from a herd of llamas and placed into a herd of something else, they adopt the new herd and protect it accordingly.
Besides dogs and llamas, other animals used for control and protection include donkeys, kangaroos and ostriches.
